Australia skittle out Sri Lanka for just 117
PALLEKELE, Sri Lanka: Australia’s Josh Hazlewood and Nathan Lyon drove an enlivened knocking down some pins assault to skittle out Sri Lanka for 117 on the opening day of the main Test in Pallekele on Tuesday.
Quick bowler Hazlewood and off-spinner Lyon stowed three wickets each to make Sri Lanka’s batting look not as much as customary after skipper Angelo Mathews had chosen to bat first subsequent to winning the hurl.
