LIVE: IAF aircraft carrying 29 personnel goes missing, search and rescue operations underway
An Indian Air Force plane conveying 29 faculty, including six team individuals, on load up disappeared Friday while advancing back to Port Blair from Chennai. The A 32 flying machine was on a dispatch flight, and its Expected Time of Arrival at Port Blair was 11.30 am.
The airplane was keep going spotted on the radar by Chennai Air Traffic Control authorities at 8.12 am. Flying corps asserted that they were in contact with the airplane till 9.30 am.
Salvage operations are presently in progress to find the airplane. Two military planes and four Navy warships have been dispatched to help salvage endeavors in Bay of Bengal.
Media reports assert that terrible climate could have assumed a part in the air ship going off the radar.
The A 32 flying machine is a twin-engined turboprop military transport airplane.
1.50 pm: One P-8I and a Dornier air ship were mixed to help look operations. Four boats Karmukh, Gharual, Jyoti and Kuthar were occupied to participate in the inquiry and salvage at full speed. More resources being dispatched in a matter of seconds.
