Interior Ministry concerned over release of videos of accused
ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior has communicated worry over the arrival of recordings of blamed on private TV channels.
It has asked Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) to take corrective measures in such manner.
The Spokesman of Interior Ministry said such arrival of recordings influences indictment and examination handle seriously.
Prior indicating worries over video releases matter of under trial blamed, the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has guaranteed national government’s status to explore the matter.
Talking on the floor of the National Assembly on Monday, the pastor ensured full backing to the Sindh government to examine late video breaks of under trial charged including previous priest for petroleum Dr Asim Hussain.
He said, the issue should have been tended to as it is affecting legal procedures and driving undue media trials.
